Discover the value of COMENSA membership

COMENSA - Coaching and Mentoring Association of South Africa

Comensa - Release

If you are a coach or mentor in South Africa you need to look at the value your membership to COMENSA will bring.  Initially started in Cape Town, COMENSA will become the national body supporting local coaches and mentors.

As part of the COMENSA roll out across the country, it is envisaged that we will have regional COMENSA committees' representing each province. Each regional COMENSA committee will have representation on the national COMENSA board.

As a section 21 Company, COMENSA's Vision is to be as inclusive as possible, and provide ways and means to keep the quality of coaching and mentoring on a professional level.

It has become apparent that there is a need for a national body that can enhance, market, protect and promote the profession of coaching and mentoring. COMENSA will become just that body.

It is COMENSA's goal to ensure the best possible reputation for coaches and mentors within SA and attempt to set a benchmark for the industry as it grows and matures.

Discussions are a foot with COMENSA members to setup special interest groups (SIGS) in specific and relevant areas such as ethics, research, standards, marketing, etc

COMENSA will also become the protective body for local coaches and mentors, and lobby the government where necessary when it comes to coaching and mentoring issues.

Coaches and potential coaches can come network and COMENSA events into contact.

Should you be interested in becooming an accredited coach, please contact COMENSA on their www.comensa.org.za site or more information
